Guy, you are absolutely right. The awful Rees-Mogg was on 'Newsnight' earlier this week, and had the gall to defend Trump. I think the BBC made a mistake, well, show me anything run by human beings that doesn't get things wrong now and again. But, not many seem to attract the bile poured on the BBC, and those detractors are all of one persuasion. Trump has turned into the worst kind of dictator, and God alone knows what the media in the U.S. are thinking, just to roll over and be cowed. Fortunately for us this country is a democracy underpinned by a free press, in spite of the attempts by many to change that, and long may it remain so.
