I went for the first time this afternoon - to the Silverscreen showing. It was £12.45 and I see that £2.00 of that is tax. We were given coffee and cake. Well, I had a rather large box of salted popcorn instead of the cake. The seats are comfortable (although largely double). The film was okay (The Amateur). The only complaint I'd have is, as with it seems all cinemas these days, a good 20 minutes or more of advertisements before the screening. I was told this is so that there would be time to serve everybody if the cinema was full. I will definitely be going again at some point although not necessarily to the Silverscreen - all depends what's showing. |
