| The parking restriction was, when the CPZ was first announced, 6.00 to 7.00p.m. which I (as a car owner at the time) found perfectly okay. The finish time went from 7.00p.m. to 8.00p.m. by local vote which I thought was mean and unnecessary as, as you say, most people booking a meal or visiting the cinema at the erstwhile Waterman's would need to be parked 7.00p.m. latest. The answer is to use public transport if at all possible although there is, as Guy says, the very large car park not far away. |
