I have no issue with filming at all locally but this time It's having a far wider and deeper impact than expected. Businesses and those who are based from home are well stuffed and no doubt some are losing possibly up to a weeks income but the unreliability factor of letting clients down could cost contracts or ££££ over the longer term. Quite why Albany Car park - sitting there empty - but used before for displacement and also as a base, with a voucher system before there were CPZs,  for the large scale filming which occurred in the 1990s and early 2000s and worked well, could not be managed this time when it is even easier to ascertain a residents vehicle does not say much for the authorities consideration of local residents and small commerce. Presumably compensation for losses will be refunded in council tax refunds for all those affected or a pretty substantial donation for say, St Paul's Park or street trees or fixing the busted pavements.
