I used to take the night bus from Brentford to Hounslow over 5 years ago and it never ceased to amaze me how dirty and filthy Hounslow was then! Jim are you saying it’s worse? I go there now and again but not noticed,but maybe that’s because it was always piled high with rubbish. I used to live at Thorncliffe House in Heston back in the 70s. Back then Heston was similar to Chiswick a nice leafy suburb! We have friends who still live there off central Avenue and their road is still very nice.
