| We've got a few friends of a certain age (one with a prosthetic leg) who just will not use buses because they are not certain the driver will wait until they are seated. I always let anyone with a stick or buggy get on or off first - and I am amazed when they thank me. Shouldn't it be normal behaviour? Today I had 4 journeys to a garage the other side of Slough to get our car's annual service. Driving on the M4, walking to/from Burnham on the Elizabeth Line, E2 & E8 journeys and everyone behaved impeccably. Sorry you got an inattentive driver, Jim. |
