| It was the Waterworks Festival in Gunnersbury Park. It ran from midday to 10.30pm on Sat and the same on Sun. Plus soundchecks - which started at about 10am on Sun. I live about a mile away and it was extremely loud. I'm not against events/concerts being held in the park but to subject residents to over 20 hours of boom, boom, boom over the course of a weekend seems to me to be to be taking the ****. Goodness knows what it must have been like for people living nearer and people with children who have to get up early for school on Monday morning - 10.30pm on a Sunday is far too late to be making that sort of racket in a residential area. |
