I have never heard of anybody making such a claim. If you let me know I will follow it up with Lime and with LBH transport team. They are not boasting about fines, but I'm delighted they are using fines (very small I think) to discourage antisocial use of the bikes. "Lime has escalating fines: 1st offence: warning, 2nd offence: £2, 3rd offence: £5, 4th offence: £10, 5th offence: £20 and permanent ban. On average, 80% of users do not re-offend after their first fine." |
