When it opened it was claimed it had a state of the art heating system and enabled waves and better filtration. But it was and is not the nicest place to go to Richmond Teddington Isleworth have much nicer pools and all are much older. The refurbishment of Fountain was poor with the best bit being an improvement in Lighting and the replacement of the perspex roofing which deteriorated dreadfully just a few years after opening. It's a shame as, like Watermans, it's huge potential is badly diminished from very poor design and was costly for what there is. |
