Does anybody know what has happened to the eggs/young of the two sets of Brentford swans? I'm referring to the pair which had a nest roadside near to the canal bridge and the pair in the 'nature reserve' at the end of The Island. I saw both sets sitting on the nests but haven't seen any cygnets and yesterday a volunteer at The Toll House told me that 'they' had drowned. I'm not sure which cygnets he was talking about or what exactly happened. Does anybody have any information? Thank you. |
