| Here we go again, another so called consultation. This time to stop flooding in Windmill Road. So first you create a problem by allowing lots of new development knowing full well that the Victorian drain system cant cope but rather than dig that up and replace it our council propose taking away parking spaces, laying permeable paving and, wait for it, rain gardens and tree pits, whatever they are. So my question is why not just replace the drains ? |
