Sorry Gabriella for missing your deadline. We all would like better air quality but I remain unconvinced by the fatality figures that are bandied about. Kensington & Chelsea has some of the highest pollution levels in the country yet it also has the highest male life expectancy of any equivalent area in Europe. That tells us that that income rather than pollution has a bigger effect on our time on this earth therefore measures to improve air quality that make people poorer are going to be counterproductive. |
