| Thank you both, I too thought double glazing would be a deterrent! However I think a sharp object to a corner breaks the glass which being safety glass crystallises. A hole was then kicked through. I fitted a top quality bump and break resistant euro lock last year! No advice from insurers yet though they did advise that a claim might affect future premiums. Officer from Police neighbourhood team called in this morning and agreed that the house was pretty secure but said to consider improvements. I am thinking about an alarm.... |
