| Iain, Certainy unsettling to come home to and food for thought for other householders. I always thought that double glazed French doors, assuming the beading could no be prised off and locks good quality, were considered to be good deterrent defence against break-ins due to the noise of breaking toughened and laminated glass. Short of alarms/electronic devices a little difficult to think what else can be done? Did the insurers/police suggest any improvements? |
