Is it the councils responsibility to maintain the pavements, roads and parks when it comes to weeds and general maintenance? It seems crazy at the moment, I live on Grosvenor Road and the pavements and road are covered in weeds. We maintain our own front but other people don't seem so bothered. Around the back of Albany Parade there are weeds growing around the trees which are getting almost as big as the trees! In St Pauls Park all of the trees are overgrowing really badly and need to be cut back. I thought our Council Tax was supposed to cover things like this? Our visitors are complaining how bad it all looks at the moment and with all of the derelict buildings Brentford isn't looking so brilliant these days... Is there a contact at the council I could reach out to? |
