I see our local MP has proposed in Parliament that we should be allowed an opt out option if we dont wish the proportian we pay in taxes to the defence budget and for the amount to spelt elsewhere
Despite the fact that we are living in extremely dangerous times and perhaps need increased funding on defence rather then allowing some to withdraw their portion where could this lead to?
I wonder if she would allow me to opt out of paying towards International Aid or locally allow me to opt out of paying for the Library service as they are only open when I am at work paying for it? |
