Dear Church Street Residents, So you got your road shut in spite of the predicted chaos. You need to be honest and answer this: Is it worth it? Is it worth the disruption to families and hospital patients? Is it fair on the bus users who are now stuck in traffic that is not moving? Is is worth it to subject young children to illegal amounts of pollution from idling vehicles and permanently damage their lungs? Give it a thought, some of these children might even be yours!  Come and have a look at the little 3-year olds playing a just few meters from the road at Isleworth Town school. If the answer to the above is “NO”, then please join us in lobbying the council to implement improvements that would work for EVERYONE, and not just for your street. Let’s re-open all roads and collectively come up with the solutions that would benefit the entire community. Because if you don’t, when this matter comes up for a review and a wider consultation, you’d be surprised how little support you get. If you don’t, then enjoy the remaining 16 months of the “trial”, because that is all you’ve got left.
