Amongst the many grumbles and negative comments , there is no mention of the enlarged square being used by the Sunday market.(Yes thats the market that requires shoppers to have a reasonable income).
Surely the lack of multiples surrounding this site is more to do with the proximity of major shopping centres and low shopping footfall.Any small improvement to the visual environment which encourages the many many new flat dwelling Brentford residents to use the high street is a bonus.
The cost seems high but we are not paying it all.
WHY IS THERE ALWAYS SUCH NEGATIVITY IN THESE FORUMS?
