Why would the weight restrictions which once applied no longer apply?  Has the bridge got stronger, and if so how? Fair point about the size of the road being prohibitive in its own right to drivers of larger vehicles, but why do traffic officers seem so frequently to feel the need to wind local people up in this kind of way?
