Not "aimed at" as such Guy, but I would be interested to know what it was that Anthony posted that warranted the suggestion that his political outlook has anything at all in common with North Korea. As I see it his criticisms of party politicians were from a democratic rather than an anti-democratic perspective, and for me your response was that of somebody who is part of the political establishment reacting with indignation to the temerity of an outsider daring to express an alternative view. So nothing personal at all Guy, just an observation. As for the ICG - yes, we took on the might of the establishment, won, won some more, won more still, lost, searched for another way, found the way barred to us and having come through it all are thus now considering those options that are available to us from a position of strength. Organisations come and go, but ultimately ideas can only ever be beaten by better ideas. Those in positions of power sometimes need to learn this the hard way. |
