I presume that is aimed at me because I happen to be a Labour member. And if so it is complete bo**ocks. I joined the Lab party in 2010 because I hoped to make a difference after 30 years of Thatcherism in different guises. I could not support a 'Labour' party led by Blair. Miliband is an entirely different proposition. Of course, it's a free country and you're entitled to not engage or vote, however if you don't it ain't too realistic to complain about the outcomes. Hamlet springs to mind. The ICG - for all its faults - decided not to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune but took arms against a sea of troubles, opposed them, and had a crack at ending them. Not entirely successful but IMO creditable to try - not clear whether they have now given up. Phil? |
