The Borough has been vigorously challenging TfL on any and all changes that have been made to traffic signals in recent days where the reason for each change is not clear and/or where concerns about safety have been raised in the local forums or by email or where such changes have been directly observed.  We are pressing for an urgent resolution in each case.

We have recently been advised by TfL that the changes are quite deliberate, and are to protect the Chiswick roundabout and Olympic road network.

Other boroughs are also complaining to TfL and the issue is being discussed with their senior management.

You may wish to lodge a formal complaint with TfL.

My media colleagues will be publishing a message shortly on the Council’s website.
