Looks as if the police have acted swiftly, so congratulations if this leads to successful convictions. The Chronicle has this update:- TWO men have been arrested following allegations two teenage boys were raped in Brentford. A 19-year-old and 21-year-old were arrested yesterday (Thursday, June 2) in connection with the alleged assault, which took place in Brentford High Street on Tuesday (May 31) at about 10.30pm. No charges have been made. A spokeswoman for the Met police today said the men remained in custody at separate west London police stations. Police are still investigating allegations of rape and robbery against the teenage boys. They have appealed for anyone with information to contact the Sapphire unit on 020 8721 9100. Mind you, if the boys were as young as suggested, what were they doing out alone at that time? |
