| Goddards is so out of date that it is almost back in vogue. It's a classic late 60's early 70's building and largely unspoiled. The fluorescent lighting is cheap to run and provides a bright even light. But you would not want it in your living room or the sort of environs that their furniture would normally be found! I think a little tidying up and the place could look very much as it did when new. Tidy less cluttered window displays with items priced as it used to be, would go a long way into enticing what is still a proper old style furniture store with some good products, It's not all care home chairs and welsh dressers. |
