I think anti-speed humps have their place, but why in Heaven's name they were installed in roads with a high volume of traffic such as St. Johns Rd. and Worton Rd. I will never know. There is no doubt that some of them are evil, I can think of a couple locally that seem to be out of all proportion and that I treat with great respect. The other thing that bugs me is these daft chicanes giving priority to traffic going one way, especially on small bridges, they do absolutely nothing and just create hold ups where there were never any. I warn you now that traffic engineers inhabit a parallel universe to the rest of us, so don't excpect any logical reasoning!
