Like most people I hate speed bumps. Wish I could remember where I was driving the other week where I noticed that the bumps had all been removed. Somewhere in Ealing I think.
A couple of years ago I fell over and dislocated my shoulder. I ended up being taken to West Mid in an ambulance from Braemar Road in Brentford. I cannot tell you how much pain I was in and every bump we went over was excruciating torture. I only had a disclocated shoulder, God only knows how you would feel if you were more seriously injured.
When these things were created did anyone give any thought to emergency service vehicles and potential damage to cars? |
