| According to someone on the box the majority of potholes that have appeared since the bad weather are where Stat. companies have dug up the road previously. This seems to indicate that the repairs aren't all that clever, the other problem is that local councils only check 10% of these repairs, to check them all would be a massive undertaking and they simply don't have the staff, especially in this day and age of cuts. Given the profits of the Stat. companies wouldn't you think they could at least be trusted to make good any roadworks they carry out? God - I am such an optimist............... |
