Vanessa, I shouldn't think a deal has been done, especially not between the Tories and the Lib Dems. Andrew Dakers knows how such a thing would damage his party. The Tories probably cannot find enough candidates to stand. They're obviously not serious about winning Brentford. This is perhaps unsurprising, given that they even failed to poll as many votes as Labour in that ward in last year's GLA election - when the Conservatives were a full 20% ahead in the polls. Brentford people are too smart to vote Tory.
