Hasn't the building been nicely renovated and maintained? Fat Boys has ensured that remains alive and well. I had only been once before a year or two back joining Forum friend Gerry Tan there for lunch. (thanks again Gerry!)

The interior is cosy and tastefully decorated and on entry there is a welcoming flotilla of young Thai ladies to escort you to your table. It seems to seat about 60 covers but there were at most only 12 diners were there at 9.30pm last night! But it was still cosy.
The menu seems to be very similar to Chinese fayre..what's the main difference?
A plate of mixed starters is my usual entree..but being on my own I noticed that such a plate was only for two or three people!! Being a big boy..I didn't hesitate to order the double dish!!
(two spring roll,two satay,two prawn on toast,and two small fried chicken wing.)
Well, you did ask what the place was like!! The scene was splendid really..the decor, the sight of the food and bottles of mineral water and wine..and the elegantly dressed and well groomed ladies fluttering around...but what did it taste like you will ask.
At the fab Chinese Restaurant 261 Bath Road, Hounslow, ""Sungs"" such a starter plate would have included seaweed, and perhaps spare ribs too..and perhaps more of each!!
Two fat-boys at Fat Boys, Brentford would have swiftly
demolished that plate...£8.25!....and the chicken bits looked a modest offering.
