| If I may offer my own view (like it or not, but we still just about live in a country where freedom of speech is a right). This forum is an echo chamber - it is devoid of original thought. Many posts focus on petty matters and appear to ignore huge issues like Brentford’s overdevelopment and the terrible state of its transport and local infrastructure, (btw has anyone seen the new disgusting graffiti on the hoardings of the yet unopened Pret adjacent to Morrisons?) . Some participants rail against the Labour dominance of this ward, yet when it comes to the ballot box, despite all the evidence, Labour candidates are still voted in. I hope the electorate will choose a worthy local alternative at the next election. |
