Even though the one in the museum is not 'Original' as claimed the idea of a wall of neon signs of the many that existed along the Golden Mile and other parts of Brentford would be a fantastic work of art and a rather fetching homage to Brentford's industrial past.
This idea is not new, I've heard it proposed and suggested in public meetings and from, I think, Brentford Voice or something like that. A while back now when that Carbuncle was nearing completion.
So not an entirely bad idea, but leave the one in Gunnersbury as its not the real ticket anyway. |
