"The same Mayor who gets on a supplied bike to ride 800m for the cameras happily presides over more and more overdensification and urbanisation increasing  social, health and pollution problems which are creating more than they solve."

And the same Mayor whose most recent London Plan couldn't be adopted until housing targets/numbers were increased, at the insistence of SoS Robert Jenrick, which cynics like myslef would suggest was all about securing votes from the traditionally blue counties surrounding London where the Green Belt is under threat (i.e. by cramming more and more people into the city Jenrick hopes to minimise Green Belt loss (and more importantly keeping blue voters happy)).

I'm no fan of Khan but people have to realise that the Tories are the ones who have set higher housing targets for the capital, so if the finger is to be pointing anywhere then that's where it should be pointed.
