| Most of the complaints I get about blue badges are that LBH are too liberal. Here are the rules in Hounslow, which I believe are consistent with neighbouring boroughs: Blue Badge holders may park - free at any public parking meters or pay and display bays - up to three hours on single or double yellow lines - disabled bays for as much time as you need - on-street resident permit/ shared use bays within Hounslow - all Hounslow car parks in the pay and display or disabled bays. If Raymond is correct about what he said he saw in the Butts, the tickets were issued incorrectly (assuming the vehicles were correctly parked as above) and should and likely will be appealed - Blue badge holders know the rules. As to the tickets in Enfield Road, if the facts are as Robert describes they should be appealed and cancelled. I am not allowed to intervene in individual cases but can point to a mistake if I see one, so if you're affected let me know. |
