They (Ballymore) are trying to prevent parking there as this was impeding their access. I suggested they replaced 'Checkpoint Charlie' with strategically placed planters to make unauthorised parking impracticable and they seemed to think this was a good idea. The barrier is very hostile in appearance and must discourage people from accessing Rye on the Water and their meeting/marketing suite. In addition a disabled person was told by the guard there were no disabled parking arrangements whereas Ballymore management says there are! All seems self-defeating to me. I will follow up when I'm back from hols, especially if someone reminds me. Of course, they will still need to ensure to exclude travellers or other unauthorised guests. |
