| Today I did what I have thought I might do for a long time - take a trip on the 235 all the way to Sunbury on Thames. Never mind the waiting time for the bus or the fact that it took 55 minutes to do the journey despite it being a Sunday, that's just how it is. What I feel compelled to say though is that I was horrified at the litter which was strewn practically all along the route and a lot of this coming I should imagine from pedestrians who throw litter down or out of car windows as a lot of it was away from houses or where the bin men may have been. Truly depressing and shameful and I'm glad I don't live there however un-p.c. that may sound. Sunbury on Thames itself was okay and compared to the other areas the bus passed through Isleworth and Brentford looked bloomin' marvellous - it was good to get back. |
