So closing a road that is a direct relief bypass for an already overcrowded road that contains a large proportion of residential and public buildings is a good idea? Lionel Road contains no residential and is only industrial. It is a one way road. Closing in makes no sense other than adding to congestion and pollution in a road that is already way, way overloaded and polluted, Has been for 70 years and will remain so as it is going to be the only A road outside of the Mayors inside Berlin Wall like ULEZ. Local pollution will increase and whole communities divided. And what's in the offing? Bus service cuts Between Ealing and Acton and Brentford and Chiswick. |
