Oddly enough it's always the christmas's that get remembered, when something adverse happens.
The lengths people go to for the perfect christmas and a day later it's all forgotten, helped by a couple of Gaviscon. But power cut, water or worse and it gets remembered, usually with a laugh or two.

Of course it's also a time when some people hit the depths of despair. We've spent the day helping out and it's been the best one for years in so many ways I would not have expected. So much so that we are all off to do it again today..
