So we have had several canvassers in our street.

As I washed our car this evening I watched as they selectively chose doors to knock.
So far every party has passed by our door.

I wonder why?  Is our name in red and best avoided? I might ask a few tricky pertinent questions?  How dare I, a mere pleb clearly.

So this time I approached them.  They did not want to know or answer questions on any topic other than recommend the candidate as being a 'super person' and 'concerned' for the area.

So where do our new prospective candidates stand on issues like building on, selling and leasing off of parkland which Ealing is now wanting to follow Hounslow's precedent. ?

I would dearly love to know, But the silence is rather telling.

There's more chance of a sensible response from the Clanging manhole cover of Holland Gardens!
