The new edition of 'Private Eye' brings us up to date with the Cllr. Mohinder Gill saga. Yes, he of the "relaxed attitude to the relevant proprieties.... found by the council's standards committee to be "appalling and to be deplored". Egged on by none other than chief egotist and all round moron, deputy leader, Colin Ellar, Gill appealed against the decision. He lost - the legal bill? £45,000. As 'Eye' comments - "Ouch! But no matter - the ever-generous taxpayers of Hounslow are paying" |
