| The 27 used to go to Richmond on Sundays and I think onto Twickenham and Teddington many moons ago very useful. The 65 used to go all the way to Leatherhead. I remember doing that run with my mates on a red bus rover once and the memory of those old RT buses doing near 60mph down the A243 was better than any fairground ride at Chessington! The 267 to Hampton is a good and easy ride and really TfL are failing to market the sunday extensions. If they played their cards right they could even have a timetabled heritage service with vintage buses on occasional sundays. |
