Remember the Tories ALL voted against and then in a remarkable U-turn, after Barbara Reid left the chamber to go to the toilet, - she came back and led the group to change their minds and vote approval. The fact that this ridiculous application got through is 100% the fault of the Tories and the Director and Asst Director of Environment and Planning. As Phil Andrews has already explained in great detail, senior officers of the Council actively canvassed/lobbied Cllrs to vote approval even before the application was heard. Everyone already knew that they would get their Labour buddies to approve so the final decision rested 100% in the hands of the Tory Group. Rersidents will NEVER forget this cowardly TORY U-TURN. They are a DISGRACE TO HUMAN RIGHTS |
