| Hi Kevin - You are quite right - the areas were adopted by different councils and legend has it that there was some local rivalry about the design and style. The good folk of Heston and Isleworth enjoyed some fine brickwork detail an upstairs bathroom - quite a boon for the time. Anyone have any more info? |
