| Robin I think I agree. The police will be given more and more powers against the violent element, and total power during the wedding. Violence will just be sidelined even more. So unless people are prepared to use old fashioned strikes on the scale that brought down previous governments e.g. Callaghan and others,I wonder what impact these marches will have. But what powers do strikers have today? And do they have the same will? Is that anger as great as it was in the sixties/seventies? |
