| This is not a particularly inspiring consultation document, with limited options given and needs to be done by Dec. 3rd so you need to get your skates on if you want to reply. I really am worried about the future of our state education system under this God awful Government and the hapless Michael Gove in particular. I wouldn't mind betting that they will move heaven and earth to blackmail all schools to move to Academy status by promising attractive funding in the first instance and then pull the financial plug once they've got their way, then all schools will be on their own, very worrying. The LEAs mightn't be the best thing since sliced bread but better the devil you know might be the better option. |
