Brentfordians seems most likely - Brentonians does suggest people from Brent as the `ford` as been omitted with this term. I I expect Bradford dwellers are Bradfordians and not Bradonians. Other examples Parisians, Glaswegians, support this but there are some funny ones - Liverpudlians and Mancunians! It seems to depend on the end of the word and how it is to be pronounced! Liverpoolians or Manchesterians is difficult to say. They were more practical way back then! Good fun this! |
