Mine is bloody awful. When it rains like this there are huge puddles everywhere so you end up playing hopscotch to negotiate a dry route. Loads of the slabs are cracked and broken - all in all a complete mess. These were originally laid about 100 years ago and remained in good condition, super flat and free draining for the first 80 years.....then along came the technology !!! You can have a 50 megabyte broadband connection, non-leaking gas and water mains (wowee!) but sadly all carried out by incompetent, poorly supervised muppets who know nothing of the basics of laying or repairing a pavement........and none of it helped by vehicles parking up on the kerb (and I suppose all the obese people play their part too). Well, that's my moan for the evening; thank you for letting me share my angst and good night.
