Due to flood damage to a railway bridge east of Feltham station, all South West Trains between Feltham and Waterloo are cancelled. The cancelled services (both directions) are: • Waterloo to Weybridge via Hounslow and Feltham • Waterloo to Reading via Richmond and Feltham • Waterloo to Windsor & Eton via Richmond and Feltham Trains between Waterloo and Weybridge via Hounslow and Feltham (both directions) are currently operating between Staines and Weybridge only, connecting with other services. From Tuesday 17 November to Friday 20 November: Trains running from Waterloo to Waterloo all the way around the Hounslow Loop (both directions) are running as normal. This means that stations on the Hounslow Loop (Hounslow – Isleworth – Syon Lane – Brentford – Kew Bridge – Chiswick – Barnes Bridge) will therefore receive only a half-hourly service. • A bus shuttle service is operating between Twickenham and Feltham. • Passengers travelling from Hounslow loop stations to Feltham will need to change to shuttle buses at Twickenham or to route 235 at Isleworth station. • Passengers travelling from Hounslow loop stations to stations between Feltham and Reading or Feltham and Windsor will need to change to shuttle buses at Twickenham or to bus route 235 at Isleworth station then to these trains at Feltham. Passengers for Chertsey, Addlestone and Weybridge will also need to travel by these services and change again at Staines. • Passengers from Hounslow loop stations or the central Hounslow area can also use bus route 117 to travel to Feltham and to Staines via Lower Feltham. • First Great Western trains are accepting South West Trains tickets between London and Reading/Windsor. • London Buses are accepting South West Trains tickets between Feltham, Osterley and Hounslow. • London Underground are accepting South West Trains tickets between Osterley, Richmond and central London, or any reasonable alternative route. Passengers wishing to travel between Feltham and Waterloo are advised to make alterative arrangements. The recommended route is bus routes H25, H26, 90, 285 or 490 to Hatton Cross underground station then Piccadilly Line train to central London. Saturday 21 November: Engineering works on the Hounslow Loop are taking place over the weekend. • Waterloo to Reading services will run between Feltham and Reading only. • Waterloo to Windsor & Eton services will run between Feltham and Windsor & Eton only. • Waterloo to Weybridge via Hounslow services will run between Staines and Weybridge only. • A half-hourly train service will operate between Waterloo and Kew Bridge via Richmond. The line is closed between Kew Bridge and Barnes, and trains will be replaced by buses between these points. • The Waterloo - Shepperton via Wimbledon/Kingston service will be diverted to operate via Richmond and Twickenham all day, and will not serve stations between Earlsfield and Teddington. Passengers for these stations should travel by the Waterloo - Kingston Loop - Waterloo services. • There will also be a few additional return services both before and after the rugby at Twickenham (kick off 2.30pm) between Waterloo and Shepperton via Twickenham. • Buses will run between Feltham and Kempton Park all day, connecting with the additional/diverted Waterloo to Shepperton services. There will be NO buses between Feltham, Whitton and Twickenham due to the traffic congestion. Note: Passengers travelling to the England v New Zealand rugby international at Twickenham Rugby Ground on Saturday are encouraged to travel by Underground or Overground to Richmond, or by bus, but please note that bus services are often delayed by congestion near the Rugby Ground. Sunday 22 November: • Waterloo to Reading services will run between Feltham and Reading only. • Waterloo to Windsor & Eton services will run between Feltham and Windsor & Eton only. • The line is closed between Queenstown Road and Barnes Bridge/Richmond for engineering works. • Waterloo to Woking via Hounslow services will run between Staines and Woking only. • The replacement bus services between Clapham Junction and Twickenham/Kew Bridge in connection with the engineering works will continue to operate, and in addition buses will operate between Twickenham, Whitton and Feltham. • An additional hourly train service will operate from Kew Bridge to Richmond and return. Trains will depart Richmond at 24 minutes past the hour and will depart Kew Bridge at 16 minutes past the hour, however intending passengers should check the South West Trains website before travelling. • Waterloo to Waterloo via Kingston/Twickenham Kingston Loop services will run between Waterloo and Richmond via Wimbledon and Kingston only. From Monday 23 November: Network Rail is constructing a temporary track diversion in order to bring the services back to normal as soon as possible. Normal services may resume as early as Monday (with minor delays due to temporary track work). If this is not achieved over the weekend, the service will be as per Tuesday 17 November to Friday 20 November, as shown above. Please keep checking the South West Trains website for the latest information. |
