| Paul and all, Reports in the local press say that the Union Jack was indeed flown at half mast at the Civic Centre this week. In addition the Hounslow Chronicle mentioned that Hounslow's Mayor, Cllr Paul Lynch and the Mayoress would be "joining Officers from the Second Battalion, the Royal Regiment of Fulsiliers at Wootton Bassett today to witness the repatriation of the four soldiers" Mayor Paul Lynch was in the Army once.. stationed for two years at Sandhurst, the Officers training centre, and he would have attended today's sad occasion with great dignity. |
