| I did watch most of that revolting programme last night, and what came across was the complete lack of any real political thinking. Reform came across - as indeed I think they are - a one trick pony, I did not hear one person who wanted to be elected as a councillor or Mayor talk about things like housing, transport, education, street cleansing, fly tipping or any of the things that councils exist to provide. All they were obsessed with was immigration and religion of people who live here. It absolutely said it all, Oswald Moseley would have been proud, the age of some of these people just made me wonder what they know about the history of our country? They must have had forebears who fought in WW2 against all the things that they are spewing out now, yet don't seem to have understood what it cost, or why this country fought so hard to stop the hate and cruelty from spreading around the world. Really to call any of their associated thugs 'patriots' is an insult to all those people we will remember next month on Remembrance Day. |
