| While I'm very much in favour of this proposal - money for the club, prestige for the area and big name bands performing locally - I have to take issue with the claim that the ground is more or less sound proof. I don't live particularly near the stadium but I can hear when a goal is scored for the home team if the wind is blowing in the right direction. I assume that there will be a higher level of sound at a more sustained decibel level for the concerts. It won't bother me and, if it did, I'd shut my windows, but the club might want to consider being a bit more upfront about what to expect. |
